This one-of-a-kind design was inspired by Massimo Vignelli's landmark 1972 NYC subway map. However, we replaced the metro stations with 70 of the city's iconic rock bands and artists whose sonic influence roared through the five boroughs and out into the world.
These routes are less geographic and more supergraphic. Each line connects artists of a similar genre — punks and rockers like The Ramones and The Strokes dominate the green train while J-Lo, Billy Joel and Lady Gaga rule the red pop line. Enjoy the ride through decades of the city's vibrant musical history — just remember to stand clear of the closing doors, please!
(Bonus: A Spotify playlist featuring all these musicians can be found here.)
• Ceramic, dishwasher and microwave safe
• 11 oz mug dimensions: 3.79″ (9.6 cm) in height, 3.25″ (8.3 cm) in diameter
• 15 oz mug dimensions: 4.69″ (11.9 cm) in height, 3.35″ (8.5 cm) in diameter
• Colored rim, inside, and handle
This product is made especially for you as soon as you place an order, which is why it takes us a bit longer to deliver it to you. Making products on demand instead of in bulk helps reduce overproduction, so thank you for making thoughtful purchasing decisions!
