Collection: California

Introducing the California Collection, a series of designs celebrating the rich and rebellious history of California rock music. Each design in this collection is a tribute to the legendary sounds and stories that have defined the Golden State's music scene, from the mellow hills of Laurel Canyon to the rowdy bars of the Sunset Strip and the twangy rhythms of Bakersfield.

The first design, Laurel Canyon, is inspired by that 60s and 70s scene when legends like Joni Mitchell, The Eagles, and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young harmonized and hung out to create timeless music in the Hollywood Hills. Tou can stream our Laurel Canyon playlist on Spotify here.

Our Riot House design references the Continental Hyatt House (aka "The Riot House"), where 70's rockers like the Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin raged above the Sunset Strip — hurling televisions through windows and riding motorcycle's down the halls.

We've put the "western" back in "country & western" with our Bakersfield Sound design. It's a tribute to the gritty, electric style that came out of Bakersfield, California in the 1950s and '60s by legends like Buck Owens and Merle Haggard.

Finally, our Sunset Strip design features a distressed electric guitar plastered with stickers of iconic concert venues from L.A.’s past. From 60’s swagger to 80’s hair metal and beyond, the Strip has long been the beating heart of the west cost rock scene.
